Questions, answered.
Does this replace my OB or midwife visits?
+
No — never. Prenatal and postpartum medical care stays entirely with your OB or midwife. Our work is nutritional and lifestyle support that runs alongside it, and every recommendation is made with your provider's knowledge.
Is it safe to take herbs during pregnancy?
+
Many botanicals aren't appropriate during pregnancy, and we're conservative about this. Any botanical suggestion during pregnancy is reviewed against your prenatal care and current medications first, and we default to nutrition-based support unless something specific is clearly appropriate.
I'm struggling emotionally after birth. Can you help?
+
We support the nutritional side of postpartum mood — depletion, thyroid, and blood sugar all play a real role. We also always encourage screening and support from your OB, midwife, or a therapist for postpartum mood changes, and will never suggest waiting on that care.
When should postpartum support start?
+
Many clients begin during pregnancy to prepare for the fourth trimester in advance; others start any time in the weeks or months after birth. Both are welcome.
