Area of Focus · VI

The gut is the ground floor.

Digestion is not just about comfort after meals — it shapes hormones, immunity, mood, and nearly every system downstream. For many clients, the work we do here is the work that everything else was waiting on.

Conditions we support

What we work with.

Each concern below is approached as part of a larger hormonal, nutritional, and lifestyle picture. Protocols are composed individually and revised as the body responds.

i

Digestive Health

Bloating, reflux, irregularity, and the quieter patterns like inconsistent stools or incomplete digestion. We work upstream — with acid, enzymes, bile, and the microbial landscape.

Food Sensitivities

Reactions that are not true allergies but are genuinely disrupting daily life. We work to calm the terrain and, where possible, reintroduce foods successfully.

Adjacent concerns

Estrogen clearance, thyroid conversion, cortisol rhythm, and immune resilience all depend on gut health. Skin, mood, joint, and hormonal complaints frequently trace back here — we find the thread and follow it.

How we work together

A measured path from intake to integration.

I

Listen

Sixty minutes on your full history — cycles, births, losses, contraceptive history, symptoms other providers rushed past.

II

Assess

Functional review of labs, cycle tracking, and the patterns in your daily life — sleep, stress, nutrition, movement.

III

Compose

A written protocol built for your body and your life — botanical formulations, nutrition, and targeted lifestyle adjustments.

Modalities

Tools of the practice.

Botanical Medicine

Tinctures, teas, and traditional herbal formulations — composed individually, never from a shelf.

Clinical Nutrition

Targeted nutrient support and food-as-medicine strategies tailored to cycle, season, and constitution.

Functional Assessment

Interpretation of conventional and functional labs to uncover the patterns behind symptoms.

Lifestyle Medicine

Sleep, stress, circadian rhythm, and movement — the quiet levers that shift hormonal health most.

Questions, answered.

Will I need to follow an elimination diet?

+
Sometimes, for a defined period. More often we work with targeted adjustments rather than wholesale elimination.

Do you test for food sensitivities?

+
When genuinely useful. Many sensitivities resolve as the gut terrain is restored, making extensive testing unnecessary.

I've been told I have IBS. What more can be done?

+
A great deal. IBS is a description, not a cause. We work to find the drivers — microbial, motility, enzymatic, nervous-system — and address them.

Do I need a stool test?

+
Not always. When warranted, we use targeted testing to direct protocol rather than as a default.
