Area of Focus · II

Men's health, addressed with the same depth.

Fatigue, low drive, weight gain, poor recovery — these are often dismissed as "just getting older." They rarely are. At Essentia, men receive the same unhurried, root-cause attention we bring to any chapter of life.

Conditions we support

What we work with.

Each concern below is approached as part of a larger hormonal, nutritional, and lifestyle picture. Protocols are composed individually and revised as the body responds.

i

Male Hormonal Imbalances

The male endocrine system is more nuanced than it is often given credit for. We assess testosterone alongside estrogen, cortisol, thyroid, and the metabolic terrain that governs them all.

Low Testosterone

Addressed as a downstream expression of sleep, stress, insulin, body composition, and nutrient status — not simply a number to medicate. We look for the why.

  • Energy
  • Body composition
  • Recovery

iii

Male Fertility

Sperm quality is highly responsive to the last 70–90 days of inputs. We support the terrain through nutrition, oxidative stress reduction, and hormonal balance.

How we work together

A measured path from intake to integration.

I

Listen

Sixty minutes on your full history — cycles, births, losses, contraceptive history, symptoms other providers rushed past.

II

Assess

Functional review of labs, cycle tracking, and the patterns in your daily life — sleep, stress, nutrition, movement.

III

Compose

A written protocol built for your body and your life — botanical formulations, nutrition, and targeted lifestyle adjustments.

Modalities

Tools of the practice.

Botanical Medicine

Tinctures, teas, and traditional herbal formulations — composed individually, never from a shelf.

Clinical Nutrition

Targeted nutrient support and food-as-medicine strategies tailored to cycle, season, and constitution.

Functional Assessment

Interpretation of conventional and functional labs to uncover the patterns behind symptoms.

Lifestyle Medicine

Sleep, stress, circadian rhythm, and movement — the quiet levers that shift hormonal health most.

Questions, answered.

Do I need labs before my first appointment?

+
No. We often work with recent labs you already have, and may request additional functional testing as we go. Nothing is required upfront.

I'm on TRT — can I still work with you?

+
Yes. Many of our clients are on testosterone replacement. We focus on the supporting terrain — metabolic, cardiovascular, estrogen metabolism, and overall constitution.

How long does the work typically take?

+
Three to six months is a reasonable horizon for most concerns. Fertility protocols often run a full 90-day spermatogenesis cycle at minimum.

Is this confidential?

+
Completely. Everything discussed in consultation is private.
